Round-shaft Helical Pier Systems

Round-shaft Helical Pier Systems are another alternative for stabilizing settled foundations. Round-shaft helical piers have a high resistance to buckling and have the strength to reach deep into competent soil. Helical piers are installed by mechanically “screwing” them into the soil. Because the installation of helical piers does not rely on the weight of the structure for a reaction, they can be installed to appropriate depths and capacities to assure the permanent stabilization of your foundation. Helical pier systems are also used as an alternative to Push Pier Systems on projects involving light structures. In addition, helical piers are widely used in new construction applications. Helical piers are typically installed using small construction equipment and can even be installed with hand equipment in tight spaces.

Used in both residential and commercial applications, pier installation can be completed year-round, does not require the use of heavy equipment and can be installed quickly. Foundation Supportworks’ Push Pier Systems effectively stabilize settled foundations and in most cases, can lift the structure back to its original position.
